What this page is, plainly
This is a commercial page. Retreat centres listed here have a paid or in-kind relationship with The Community Garden — they buy our preparation programme for their guests, and that revenue funds language documentation.
It is separate from our retreat listings, and money does not move between them. A centre cannot buy its way onto that page, and being on this one does not put it there. If a centre appears on both, it is because it passed the same checks as any other — and we will say so on the listing.
If you think that separation is not being honoured, tell us. It is the kind of thing that should be checkable from outside.
The centers that
give back.
These retreat centers prepare their guests with our programs — and every enrollment funds language documentation and community projects through The Community Garden. They don't just work in Shipibo territory; they support the culture that holds it.

Your guests, greeting your maestras in Shipibo.
One link. Your guests arrive prepared — the greetings, the etiquette, what the dieta really is, the words of ceremony. We split the Welcome Packet 50/50, your guests get the full course for $99 with your code, and every quarter you receive a statement of exactly what your guests funded: hours of language documentation, community workshops, teacher recordings.
