There is a deeper layer: janekon — 'true name', built from jane + the suffix -kon, 'truth'. Many Shipibo people carry both a Spanish legal name and a Shipibo name. And the -rin you hear at the end of janerin — and soon in Jáwekeskarin — is the little asking-ending for states of being: the sound of a gentle question.
